Took a few tries to find the right shade for me (xoxo and charming were recommended for cool toned skin and everyday shades, however I found both a bit ruddy looking on me). “Beautiful” is what I was after – just slightly richer than my natural lip colour and a cool toned pink. Lasts all day and I love to just top with a gloss or chapstick for shine. My new go-to and has replaced my lipstick.

I am a makeup lover but I have never figured lips out until this product. Overlining always look messy, but not doing it just accentuates how thin they are.
First picture shows my normal lip look and second is with wonderskin. It looks so natural and I wear it almost every single day now. I’ve been asked if I got my lips done!
Because it takes a minute to stain, it is so forgiving if you mess up because you can just wipe it away without smearing lipstick all over the place. I wouldn’t say it lasts all day, but I rather that than it just starting to look messy like most other traditional lipwear

I tried the wipe off version first and liked it but wanted to try the peel and reveal version so I bought the set. I had high hopes for $35 but was a little disappointed to be honest. First I followed the instructions to the letter and after 4 seperate attempts have yet to be able to get it to peel off. Each time I ended up having to wipe it off. The color transfer was nice but as you can see in the picture above it faded and washed off before half my work day was complete (roughly 4 hours later). It doesn’t fade evenly so it looks a little weird as it starts to wear off. Granted I did eat breakfast and drink tea so this type of wearing off would be expected for regular liptsticks as well but I was hoping for some real staying power. Since there is a process to apply it I can’t really step away from my desk at the office to go reapply throughout the day. Application is a little tricky and the peal and reveal isn’t really a thing. Color transfer is great, nice and bold and looks really nice after a clear coat of gloss is applied. Staying power is weak but better then a regular lipstick.

I bought this product because the older I get, the more I CANNOT STAND leaving lipstick marks on my coffee cups and water bottles. It’s so gross. And I work from home so unless I am on camera for a meeting, I don’t wear lipstick around the house. The thought of applying a lipstain in the morning and enjoying lightly hued (but dry) lips throughout the day appealed to me!m So I gave it a try!
In a nutshell, this product works. I bought the Whimsical. I have olive/tanned skin and a natural pink/brown lip color. The Whimsical is a brownish red on me and provides more color than I expected (I was hoping for something closer to my natural lip color in a pink/nude hue). The color is very different than the sample pics online. It’s easy to apply; I felt my lips drying out as the stain dried. It was easy to remove but continued to darken over the next couple of minutes. When I put a clear gloss on top, the color really popped. I won’t be wearing a clear gloss, though since that would defeat the purpose of being lipstick-free.
One recommendation: You will need to exfoliate and moisturize your lips really well before using this. My lips were a bit dry and had a crack on one side (it’s dry here and the weather turned cold recently, making my lips chap right away) so the color was uneven in the corner of my mouth. Also, make sure to apply a smooth, generous coat (kinda like if you were applying a second coat of nailpolish), only make sure to apply the stain evenly and immediately. If you apply a coat, wait a few seconds and then try to back over with another coat, it won’t work. The first coat will smear and you won’t be able to apply over it (like I said, like nail polish).
I ate dinner right away and immediately after, noticed that the color generally stayed on my lips but the outline was darker (like a lipliner). I hope this is just a symptom of my dry lips and will improve after exfoliation and moisturizing for next time.
Lastly, when I received the tube, the product was sealed in a plastic wrap. However, when I removed the stick from the tube, there was product all over the top instead of being clean so I certainly hope this wasn’t previously used and re-sealed (see picture)! They lost a star because of this.

I was surprised, after reading all the reviews that this product didn’t perform as stated. I will leave the product on my lips for a good full minute before wiping off, as instructions say, and after only two hours it starts to wear off. Seems to last longer on my outer lip, but around my inner lip, it fades fast, leaving a weird partially stained look. Not for me.

This is impressive. Does not stay ALL day- but I never expected it to. I don’t wear much makeup so this gives great color without smudging/smearing/reapplying. Nothing on your teeth, rubbing off… all the pros of lipstick without the cons. I didn’t find it drying.
Easy to apply. I find it lasts 5-6 hours? It wears off evenly which is nice so I never really HAVE to reapply. Would stay for a night out. This is XOXO which I think has a super natural color for me. My husband said he noticed my lips but couldn’t tell I was “wearing anything”. Will be a new staple to my routine.
Picture shows it on bottom only. Under my lip is a little red from rubbing off. Would recommend

I purchased shade XOXO. I was looking for a subtle look so that I don’t have to wear lipstick daily. This is kind of tricky to apply, but once you figure it out it’s good. It dries fast, smells good. I found peeling it off to be tricky and wiping it off was messy. It did leave a slight burning sensation on my lips but otherwise the color It left behind was perfectly natural looking. I’ll be interested to see how it lasts through the day.
