The Philips Norelco Multigroomer All-in-One Trimmer Series 7000 has been an absolute game-changer for us. We’ve been using it as our shared primary trimmer since July, and the battery has yet to need a recharge, which is incredibly impressive. The blades trim very closely and effortlessly handle even thick, coarse facial hair. While the shaver attachment doesn’t give as close a shave as I’d hoped, it’s not a deal-breaker for me since I prefer shaving with a blade. Overall, this grooming kit works beautifully, offering both reliability and great performance. I’m giving it 5 out of 5 stars for its durability, efficiency, and value.

Perfect trimmer, works great even after more than 3 years of frequent use. The built-in battery hold the charge very well, no problems since I purchased this exact model. The included set of attachments is more than sufficient for any type of face and body hair trimming. Highly recommended.

This is my favorite product by Philips Norelco. I’ve had two of these and hope they never discontinue it.
The trimmer offers a wide variety of guards, blades, and even a nose and ear trimmer, all of which work very well.
For context, I use a beard trimmer with no guard for my face and the 1mm beard guard for my head and back of my neck. I’m also very hairy (think Magnum PI). I prefer to trim my body instead of wax or shave. I have to trim my head and face every other day due to quick hair growth.
For the record, I DO NOT recommend this product if you plan on doing any extensive “manscaping”. While it might work well for safe places like your belly and chest, the blades are not adequately designed to prevent disasters in tighter, more sensitive areas. Philips Norelco makes another product for that purpose, so I’d encourage you to explore that one instead.
For everything above the neck, though, this is the best trimmer out there.
The only reason why I had to buy another is that the plastic guards eventually lose their grip. The connectors wear down, resulting in them popping off when you’re trying to trim. I don’t recall how long that takes (years for sure), but by that time the blades are far less sharp and need replacing anyhow.
While no blade oil is required for this product, I might recommend adding some periodically if you plan on getting the blades wet for any reason. I never do, so I’ve been able to get long lasting frequent use from this product without oiling the blades.
I highly recommend this trimmer. Solidly built, very sharp, and very reliable for heavy use.

Very good product! It’s strong and the battery has good durability. All the attachments make a difference and it’s very easy to use.

This model has so many different attachments, many you likely won’t use, but I can’t imagine many people needing something that this doesn’t have, it really covers all the bases. Changing the heads (or whatever they’re called) is so easy, they just pop right out and snap back in. They’re just as easy to change as the length snap on attachments. It’s all waterproof and I leave mine in the shower more often than not, taking it out only to charge it.
Battery has never gotten low, let alone ran out. I sometimes run it for over an hour straight and it’s never slowed down.
This specific model/variant included an attachment with a sliding variable adjustable height and it’s a really nice convenience. I have found it to be very useful, making the regular attachments mere backups, as I never use any sizes outside of this one’s variable heights. If you only use measurements falling in its zone, you never need to take it off. A really great addition.
This also included a sensetive area safety buzzer attachment which snaps on the entire head of the unit. It’s excellent in its purpose for use in sensetive areas. Many, many times with my older unit I had huge nicks and cuts from not doing it just right with the regular small buzzer. With this attachment you can go wild and it won’t cut you at all. It has a plastic part to help with safety that is removable, but I haven’t tried without it. I love it that I don’t have to worry about getting huge nicks or gouges. This attachment does cut slower and you have to be more thorough, as you will need to go over areas more than one pass, but it’s a very fair trade and there is no negative consequence.
I love the specific body grooming attachments (dark green 3mm and 5mm) so you have different attachments for your body and face/head. The green ones are for body areas but identical to their grey counterparts. These green ones, alone with the aforementioned sensetive trimmer will take care of all body hair.
I’ve had an older model of this, that is identical for all intents and purposes, the design of the handle is slightly different but that is where the changes stop. I merely wanted a second one and I was curious about the newer attachments, which I LOVE. Everything, including the battery are working great on the first. These things are great. You won’t regret this model, it has an attachment for everything and truly does it all. It’s a great gift idea for any guy that doesn’t have a decent solution for what this thing does.
One con between this newer model and the older one I have. I noticed it won’t run while plugged in, while my older one does. This isn’t likely to be an issue that comes up often, or maybe ever, but if you did manage to run the battery out you wouldn’t be able to use it on the spot by plugging it in. The battery life is great, yet sometimes things happen and if you needed this in a pinch with a dead battery the cord wouldn’t be helpful, while the older models (on every electric razer I’ve ever seen) always supported this feature, allowing you to use them even when the battery was completely unable to hold a charge. Pretty lame, knowing that this was certainly intentional, for some reason.
