This is my 2nd purchase of these great lights from this seller. My first purchase went flawlessly, meaning after hanging the lights and charging they worked just fine and are still working.
However, after I received my 2nd order unfortunately, I got sick and could not put the lights up until after the 30 day returning mark.
After putting up both strands, and several day’s of trying to get the lights to work, I had no luck. So I contacted the seller via message telling them my situation. They sent back something for me to try which I had never heard of before.
The off/on button is not like a toggle switch so you’ll know when the unit is on rather you simply push the off/on button and hear a click.
So the solar panel will not charge unless it is in the “On” position. So they instructed me to allow them to:
Charge in the sun for a couple of hours Then take a towel or something to cover up the solar panel with (simulating dark) to check if the lights are working or not If they are then you know the off/on switch is in the proper position If not, then click the off/on button again, rinse and repeat
After following their instructions, both of my strands of lights still did not work, so they sent me a replacement within 2 days

These lights are so pretty. I hung them on my patio for Halloween this year and the purple color is perfect and not overly bright but bright enough to be spooky but still shed some ambient light. There are also lots of lights on the strand, each strand it very long. I was a little concerned that the solar power wouldn’t last long if I wasn’t able to get enough sun during the day where I put them u, but after only 2-4 hours of sun they stayed lit up overnight for at least 8 hours before I turned them off. I didn’t put the steaks in the ground, just placed the solar boxes on the edge of my patio wall, works perfectly because if I want to turn them on at dusk and the panel doesn’t think it’s dark enough out, I just flip the panels over and it tricks them into turning on, ta-da!!!!

I loved these lights initially. They had many different lighting features from steady glow to blinking and white lights to colored lights. I especially liked how they are solar powered. I hung them on my swing and the kids loved it. I also placed them under a covered patio and loved them….until they stopped working after a month. I had 2 strands, one strand just stopped working after less than a month. I checked all the wires and connections and could not see any reason why it would stop working. I contacted the seller and to their credit, they did send a replacement. I rehung these new lights, but then the older original light set stopped working. These new lights also lasted just less than a month. Very disappointing. I really would like these lights to work, but rehanging them up every month is a drag. I cannot recommend.

They are nice and bright and have several sequences to choose from. Used them for Halloween and now Christmas. Definitely want some more in different colors.

There is a mode button for different effects: blinking, rippling, steady, etc. The actual bulbs are very small but are bright and look pretty mixed among my garden plants. My only disappointment is that the light looks blue instead of yellow or white which I expected. I’ve only had them for several days so can’t comment on how long they work well.

These lights were very pretty, but the lights themselves are very very small. I live in northern Illinois, so when they had full sun all day, they stayed lit for quite a long time, but when it was cloudy, they would only stay lit for about an hour. They did what I wanted them to do, they were lights on a tree that I had no access for electricity, but after about one month, one of the strands stopped working completely. The different flashing options are great though. I would say that if you want them for something in a small area, or if you are in a place where you have more sun throughout the day, these would be fantastic, but I don’t recommend them for people in the north. I don’t regret buying these at all, the price was fantastic, I can almost justify having to buy new ones every year.
