These orange lights are very pretty. The color is orange enough for me. I keep them in the house so I can’t speak to their durability. I can say that they hold the last mode they were set to when they’re plugged back in.

I love how bright these lights are! They’re a smaller bulb, which I like for a more year-round look. We have an older home (before recessed lighting was in lol) so I like to add light where I can.
My only con would be the remote’s functionality. The different modes are already preset with specific colors, so for example you can’t select Red and then the Twinkle mode. Twinkle mode is set to Red/Green and Red/White/Blue. It would be nice to set my only color and mode, but this isn’t necessarily a deal breaker. I like the holiday (purple and orange for Halloween, etc.) themed modes that are preset, so it’s not a total loss lol.
Overall, I’d suggest to a friend! Again very bright, I like that they plug in to an outlet. The picture is of the product, day of arrival. I can update if durability and longevity aren’t great or seem to be worthy.

I’ve ordered these multiple times (adding to collection; not replacing!) ! Love them! So bright and fun with various settings. They seem to last longer than other brands too!

I ordered these in warm white to layer on top of cool white LED lights. The effect is amazing, and I’m really happy with the lighting options included with the set.

I bought this string to use as lighting along the ceiling corners of my main living area. My textured ceiling and white walls work well with the steady white setting, which is a great moonlight effect. I bought this string for $25 and it uses up to only 7 watts, and the LEDs are rated for years of constant use. For my needs, the color variants and twinkle effects are simply a bonus, which have an abbreviated variety, and not completely as controllable as some other variants I’ve had over the years. The remote is something of a bonus as well, as I have the lights on a switched outlet. And since they remember their previous state even if deprived of power, they don’t default to factory state or require much resetting, except perhaps around holidays. As well, a button on one plug assembly allows you to cycle through all the options, so the remote is fairly redundant. And that’s good, because it isn’t a very robust plastic that the remote is made from and I could see it getting broken easily. I am very happy with this product so far, and I can easily recommend the white light setting as a soothing color for ambient accent lighting.
[Edit: Of the 200 LEDs, one is slightly defective, usually running dimmer than the rest, occasionally flickering.]
[2nd Edit: I have had these lights for many months now, and there have been no problems. The one flickering LED has stopped flickering, though it seems dimmer than the others now, but not by much, and still changes colors. I cannot express how much these lights have improved the stark lighting of my apartment and added an inviting ambience that makes this space feel very homey. The lights worked very well over the holidays, adding background twinkle to the mood. If I have any reservations, it’s still the remote. If you switch this string off — my plug is switched — it will retain the setting for when it’s switched on again. Since I use these lights for regular room lighting, that is generally how I turn them on and off, not with the remote, as it is plastic and not always simple to make work. But despite my reservations and it’s difficulties, the remote hasn’t proved unreliable, only difficult.]

This product has a lot of good reviews, so this might be a rarity, but I did see a few others mention it as well. When you set your color with the remote, it will randomly change back to another pattern. For me, it was changing to blue. I was not sure if this was the remote malfunctioning, so I set it back on multicolor and removed the battery from the remote. This did not help it, it still reverted back. So then I tried changing the pattern from the switch on the box near the plug. Since then, it hasnt reverted back. But ill update my review if it does.
The remote is the same garbage remote that you find with all color-changing lights – not just string lights, but outdoor spotlights, artificial candles, etc… Its the most worthless piece of crap remote ever made. But you might get lucky and get a few months out of it. Just be ready to have to change the settings from the box – not a huge deal, not for me, I dont really care about the remote but thats because I already know its going to be garbage.
Other than that, the lights are good. If the color change still occurs even when changing from the box, then that changes things a lot, rending these lights useless. As mentioned, ill update if that happens
EDIT: changed to 1 star.
Turns out it is not the remote. No matter what setting I use, it always goes back to static blue. The battery has been completely out of the remote and I changed it from the box. It sometimes last for several hours, sometimes just a few minutes. Since blue is the only color it’ll work with and no matter what I set it to, it automatically reverts to blue, these are beyond useless to me. I’ll be returning them.
EDIT – Changed back to 5 star
The reason I changed this review is because I found the cause of the changing lights and it is not the manufacturers fault. If you are experiencing this issue – do you have any magnetic alarms or anything similar that sends a signal around your house? For me, one of the doors in my house has that cheap magnetic alarm that chimes when the door is opened – it sends the signal to base thats plugged in and acts as an alarm.
Turns out, this signal is what was causing the issue. I noticed it when someone walked through the door as I was staring at the tree, and after several tests, confirmed this is the issue. This is obviously not the fault of the manufacturer, although I am quite surprised that this signal interferes with the lights and always turns them blue. It even happens when the base is not plugged in, so when the magnets separate, somehow the lights receive the signal and change color.

These lights far exceeded my expectation for color and for how bright that they are. Some other blue lights are so dim that they cannot be seen yet these are bright yet retain their brilliant Cobalt Blue color. The 200 bulb strand also is handy.

These will be perfect for my grinch themed tree this yr.
