I needed these deperately, and EVERYONE was out of stock. Amazon came through with these. The main thing that I was skeptical about was how it could hold the light bulb in the upright position when clipped to my gutter. It turns out that you snap off the holding clip and it has a spot to insert a tab into. Additionally, it is finitely adjustable as to the angle it holds the bulb. Much better than all fixed piece clips available. Too bat the description doesn’t mention this and the pictures show it holding a bulb upright but not how you make it work… Anyway, you can’t go wrong with these.
Picture 1 shows the clip as it arrives in one piece. Picture 2 shows the spring clip part separated from the gutter clip Picture 3 shows how you would use it to hold the bulb in an upright position Picture 4 shows how you might use it to hold the bulb pointing outward from the gutter.
There are a ton of other ways you can use these with a variety of bulb styles and sizes.

I was concerned that they would fall apart when snapping them onto my gutter. For the bottom hook (for string lights), it works fine.
A few of the top pieces fell off that hold a type of light that I’m not using. Being somewhat careless, about 4 of the 80 clips I used had the top snap off. If I was using the top hook for anything, I think the great majority of them would hold up OK with a little more caution when snapping them onto the gutters without having it fall off.

These clips are so awesome! We bought the larger StayLit bulbs and opted to hang them facing upward, so in order to do this we had to bend and snap the top piece of each clip off and poke it into the hole (this is illustrated in the provided instructions). I wore a pair of gloves while doing this because it is quite hard on your hands, especially doing 200 of them! But I tell ya, these clips are going NOWHERE. The bulbs pop right into each one and they are perfectly snug on the gutter. I found it to be easier to attach them all on the gutter first and then connect the bulbs. I also opted to just sit on my roof and install everything as opposed to getting up and down a ladder, but to each their own. We hung over 200 bulbs and didn’t have one clip break. I will definitely be buying more of these to do the garage!

I bought these Sorillo Brands light holders along with a couple boxes of the Adams light clips (both are made in the USA). Out of the box, they look identical, but once you break off the clip that you attach the light bulb to, there was a noticeable difference in quality. The Sorillo ‘prong’ fits tighter into the hole of the clip (the part that attaches to the shingle/gutter) and feels more secure. We used large C9 bulbs, so having the prong fit secure onto the clip was critical to keeping the bulbs mounted without flopping around or falling off the shingle clip.
We ended up swapping out all the Adams clips we had put up as a test of durability to Sorillo clips. We didn’t have any breakages or wasted clips with either brand during the install. The Sorillo package comes with a diagram of the different mounting options for gutters and shake/shingles that can work with this clip. Super happy with the purchase and expect it to last through the holiday season with no problems.

I ordered these going in with the idea I just need them for this winter. Something easy and something simple. I must say these are well worth the money! Make sure you put the lights on the hook you right before climbing up the ladder. Put my lights up in no time at all. I only have 4 stars for durability because if you wanted to use the top light hook, they take no effort and snap off. Maybe its intended to do this? No idea, but I didnt need that application so it didnt bother me.
