I am really happy with the quality and look of this tree! I purchased the 6′ model for the corner of my kitchen. When my kids were little (they are now 31 and 37) we all hated how bleak the house looked after the holidays. So I had purchased a little tree for them to decorate for each season that we called our “all-season” tree. For February, they made Valentines for it. In March, St. Patrick’s decorations, etc. I am an artist and making decorations for the tree helped fill the days, taught them to be creative, and was some nice family time together. (I know – corny – right?) I kept the tree going as they grew up and went on with their lives and every season it brings back fond memories. It has become part of my life.
OK – On with the review . . .
After 30(ish) years, my old tree has had it. It was time to get a new one and I chose this model.
Out of the box, it looks pretty sad. It is in three pieces and at first the top piece was pushed against the middle piece and I didn’t see it. I thought I had got one with the top missing. But as I was showing my husband, it fell to the floor, so we were good to go. (DOH!)
The picture from the manufacturer shows it with the branches straighter than I did them and all pointing down. While this may be the look you want, I wanted it to look more natural. I put on music and spent a good 45 minutes to an hour working from the bottom upwards and bending each piece of every branch in place. I felt that having each branch slightly bent looked more natural than keeping them stick-straight. After all – in nature, branches are not straight – are they? (I told you, I am an artist. LOL)
The tree is very well made and sturdy. I did accidentally pull out only one loose piece from a branch. I don’t know if that was me or if it wasn’t attached well enough. But it was inconsequential. Other than losing that, I was really pleased with it. Very few of the feathery ‘needles’ came off while molding it to shape.
Pictures 1 and 2 show it after I fluffed it. Pretty nice for a naked tree – right? Pictures 3 and 4 show it with the LED light set I added. (I got one that could change color) I purchased the tree UNLIT because I didn’t want to have to get rid of it if the lights failed. So the light set on mine was a SEPARATE PURCHASE. I didn’t know whether to get a 200 or 300 light set and settled on the 200. I think that is PLENTY and the 300 would have shown too much wire. The 200 set seems perfect for the six-foot size. The last two pictures show it with my Halloween-Themed ornaments on it. You can see how nicely it fills in! I don’t have it packed, but I think it is a nice balance and it lends a wonderful, eye-catching decoration to my home.
I look forward to many years with my new little tree. It was a good price and looks well-made. I hope my review helps. It is the longest review I did for Amazon, but that is how impressed I am!

I have 2 cats and a dog. They all just ignore the tree, thankfully. The smallest cat tried biting a branch one time, that’s it. I put a cat statue at the base to hold down a bit of Christmas fabric around the base. I love this tree! I don’t find the branches sparse. In fact, I think the people saying this didn’t take enough time to arrange each branch. The tree looks so lifelike! Like a small tree from the forest. Seeing the trees natural looking branch is a plus. It was so easy to assemble. It’s definitely my favorite Christmas tree of all time! I bought the lights recommended next to the tree. 100 tiny lights is all you need. I plan on keeping it up year around. It’s just that adorable! Buy the tree before they sell out!

So, you’re probably wondering if this is worth the money and if it will fluff out to look full. Yes it’s worth the money!! No, it won’t fluff out like your traditional Christmas tree, so if that’s what you want, keep looking.
My husband and I love this tree because it’s MINIMAL. We found one on West Elm that was almost triple the price, so this was a great second to that! Note that this is NOT pre-lit, so you will need lights if you want them.
I attached a before and after, so know that you CAN make it look more full with filler and ornaments, but this tree is not a typical full and fluffy tree.
Would I buy it again? 100%! Worth the money? 100%! Will I need lots of ornaments and decorations to fill it so it’s not a charley brown looking tree? 100%.

I needed something super slim to fit into my small NYC apartment corner, this tree was perfect size wise! I knew going into it that I would need to add something to make it look “fuller” so I added pine garland and then added a lot of decorations and ribbon to make it look full. For $38– am very happy with my purchase!
